Q03: Can I use your pictures as a link from my Sims site?
AO3: Sure!
Many Sims "download news" sites
are doing just that. Simorphor encourages the use of on-site
graphics by other sites as a link to this site. You can choose your
fav pics of objects/ skins etc. - just make sure that you link
to the main pages on the menu ONLY such as the index/ things/
faces pages. The sub-pages urls [things6a.html etc] are changed quite
frequently, but the main menu urls will remain the
same.
Q04: Can I use your faces or objects in my screenshots and offer them for download from my site?

Yes of course you can
-just make sure you link to the index/faces main
menu pages, and not the sub page links, and certainly NOT the
zip files. Certain house download site use Simorphor objects
and link the credit to this
site.
AO5: No
you can't. As you want visitors, so does Simorphor, which is
the original creator of Simorphor objects, and the original
host of these files. Creating high quality downloads and
operating a site takes tonnes of precious energy, time, and
talent. Thank you for respecting
that.
Q06: Can I offer Simorphor creations for download at my site?
AO6:
A straight forward NO. Only Exception : I do offer unique items to/ answer hosting requests from big sites, for publicity purposes. Example is The Sims Resources.
Q07: Can I recolor/ retexture original Simorphor creations and then offer for public download at my site?
AO7:
Yes you can -
with conditions : [1] email Simorphor prior to uploading recolored files
onto your site [2] add original creator credit
and a link next to the download. Quite a few Sims
artists recolor head meshes and objects shapes orginated by Simorphor
and offer for download from their sites - and they
credit Simorphor and offer a link to Simorphor site next to
the download. It's appreciated...

Q08: What are the criterias to be a Simorphor affiliate site?
AO8:
Simorphor considers itself an individualistic site with high
quality, original downloads with fast increasing traffic, and
thus welcome sites with similar criteria to seek affiliation,
irregardless of download types. See Simorphor's existing
choiced affiliates as an example.
Q09: How do I get my site to be added to Simorphor's link page?
AO9: Send me an email about
your site if you think you fit the description in any of the
links category, with the following in mind:
- I only list sites with contents I feel my visitors will benefit
from, and this includes site which links to mine, or not

Q10: How does Simorphor feel about artistic ownership and copyright?
A10: Here's my view on ownership:
- Producers own what they produce
- Users own what they paid to own
Users' freedom to download or use sims artists' creations is a privilege, and not a right
This translates into my 7 point ownership manifesto:
[1] PRODUCERS NAME THE PRICE - Please respect content producers' decision as to what they wish to do with their creations which they own, this includes recognizing that it is their perogative to offer their content for free, or charge a fee for their content, or to stop offering their content at any time they see fit. This applies for sims artists, sims programmers, sims webmasters, game companies, or opera singers.
[2] ORIGINAL CONTENT EXISTS - Please recognise that this site do indeed contain *originally created download content* - even if these download content simultaneously contain non-original, Maxis-created structures. Examples of original artist-created content are a/p/z buffers, meshes, original bmps as well as the texts which are being read right this moment. Please recognise the existence of these new, original creative content because that's what people are here for - new content, not the same old content. Simorphor does own these new original content.
[3] JUST SAY NO - One has the freedom to walk away from sites whose policy one disagrees with. Respect the download's usage condition, or, just say no to downloads. Users who do not recognise the original nature of sims artist-created meshes, graphics, codes, a/p/z buffers, htmls, copywriting etc., and who deny the right for sims artists to own their painstakingly created original content, should be reminded that of "the freedom to just say no to downloads"
[4] LET THE OWNERS SPEAK - Please recognise the absurdity of non-originators/ non-owners defining and imposing usage condition and distribution rights of things they don't own - such as Sims artists created content or Maxis created content. Let the creators and owners speak for themselves - Maxis, sims artists, or any content producers and content owners of the world.
[5] SEE THE LIGHT - Please appreciate the fact that Maxis has continued to not withhold the usage and distribution of their files and codes and trust that they know what they are doing, and not be a sour grape calling for Maxis to penalise certain sims sites/ sims artists for their success.
[6] FREE YOUR MIND - Please note that there's no evil corporation out to oppress downloaders in The Sims Community. What we have instead is a large, ever-expanding pool of FREE downloads by hundreds of generous, talented sims artists, a few *voluntary* donation boxes, a few *voluntary* subscription fee areas, and an amazingly enlightened game company. Please recognise that no excuses will justify the daylight robbery of sims artists' original works [even those which are not free].
[7] CHERISH THE SIMS LIFE - Please cherish the fact that this Sims Community exists and thrives precisely because of an open, win-win spirit among its members.
